Technical Proficiency: Precision, skill, and execution of dance techniques relevant to the chosen style.
Artistic Expression: Creativity, emotion, and individuality in conveying the narrative or theme of the performance.
Choreography: Originality, complexity, and innovation in the arrangement of movements and sequences.
Stage Presence: Confidence, charisma, and engagement with the audience or camera.

JUDGING CRITERIA : Our esteemed panel of judges will be evaluating performances based on the following criteria:
Overall Impact: The lasting impression and memorable qualities that the performance leaves on the viewer.
Please note: Unfortunately, due to the high volume of entries, only successful applicants will be contacted. This allows us to carefully review each submission while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.

Who are we?
We are ex dancers who have come together with a common goal of organising an event that we believe is currently lacking in the industry. Our intention is to establish the Dance school Awards as a regular feature in the dance calendar, with a primary focus on celebrating and recognising the contributions of dance schools, dancers, choreographers, photographers and all other professionals in the field. Our group consists of people who share a passion for rejuvenating and elevating the dance industry to its rightful place.
After the incredible success of the first ever DSA's last year, we are beyond excited that you will be part of the Dance School Awards 2025.
