The Dance School Awards are open to anyone working within the UK dance industry. This includes:

How do I enter?
You can enter online by completing the official entry form. Submissions for dancers will include a video. Visit the entries page for full details and criteria.
How much does it cost to enter?
Entry fees are as follows:

When do entries close?
Entries close on 30th June 2025. Finalists will be notified in August, and winners will be announced live at the awards ceremony on 14th September 2025.
When and where is the 2025 event?
The Dance School Awards 2025 takes place on Sunday 14th September 2025 at a prestigious London venue. The event includes red carpet arrivals, pre awards networking party, live performances, and the awards ceremony in front of a full audience.
What should I wear to the awards?
This is a red carpet occasion — we encourage smart, elegant or evening wear. Dancers, nominees, and guests are welcome to dress to impress and Glam!!
Can parents and families attend the awards?
Yes! The event is open to families, friends and supporters. Tickets will go on sale once nominations and finalists have been announced. Please note tickets are very limited and are on a first come basis.
Will there be live performances?
Yes. The awards will feature performances from selected finalists and special guests. If your entry is shortlisted, your school or group may be invited to perform live on stage.
Can I enter for multiple awards?
Yes — you can enter as many categories as you wish!
Many schools, dancers, teachers, and industry creatives enter multiple awards to showcase different strengths or talents. Each category requires a separate entry form and fee, but there is no limit to how many you can submit.
Entering more than one category can increase your chances of being recognised and celebrated at the Dance School Awards 2025.
How are winners chosen?
Winners are selected by our esteemed panel of judges:
Carrie Ellis, Anna Morgan, Marlon “Swoosh” Wallen, George Beet, and Stacey Green.
Entries are judged on technique, artistry, choreography, stage presence and impact. Industry creatives will be asked to sumit evidence of work after they have entered.
Can I sponsor an award?
Yes. A range of sponsorship packages are available, from programme advertising to headline sponsorship with your own branded crystal award presented on stage.

Can I advertise in the official programme?
Yes! We offer exclusive advertising opportunities in our beautifully printed keepsake programme, which is given to every guest attending the event.

Will there be professional photography?
Yes. Our official media team will be capturing red carpet moments, award presentations, and performances. Photos and videos will be available to schools and families after the event.
