This scholarship is worth £22,000 across three years, covering tuition fees for the full-time Performing Arts training programme.
One performer. Entire tuition, paid.
There is also the potential for an additional £7,500 Industry Year bolt-on, subject to progression and availability of suitable opportunities.
For one person, that stops being true on 6 September at The Dance School Awards.

1. Check you're eligible
You need to be 16, or turning 16 by the time the course starts.
2. Upload your video
Straight to the portal. It takes minutes.
Already entered The Dance School Awards? You don't need to film anything new. Simply reupload the video you've already submitted. If you'd rather record something fresh you're very welcome to, but there's no requirement.
3. Be there on 6 September 2026
The winner is announced live, on stage, on the night, make sure to book your tickets!

Taught by people still doing the job
Kyra Lewis trained at Platinum before winning a scholarship to Italia Conti. She now works across television, hosting and dance, choreographs for events, competitions and theatre, and leads Platinum Performing Arts, teaching over 400 young performers every week.
Erina Lewis is an Italia Conti graduate signed to Nina Lee Talent Agency. She has written and directed over 40 stage productions and is Vice Principal and Creative Director at the Academy.
The faculty are working industry professionals. The people teaching you have done the thing they are teaching you to do.

The award

Awarded to the value of £22,000 over three years, covering tuition fees only for the full-time Performing Arts training programme.

Based on commitment, dedication and full engagement with the training, and a willingness to learn all disciplines.

Non-transferable. No cash alternative. Conditional on meeting Platinum Academy's standard entry requirements and enrolling for the 2026 intake.

The £280 annual qualification registration fee.

All show fees, performance fees, production costs and uniform costs.

Any additional personal or production related costs, unless explicitly confirmed in writing in advance.

Entry is by video upload to the official portal. Videos already submitted to The Dance School Awards may be reused.

Entries close 1st of September 2026 , 23:59. Late entries cannot be accepted.

Selection

The winner is selected by a panel appointed by The Dance School Awards and Platinum Academy of Performing Arts. The judges' decision is final.

Announced at the event on 6 September 2026. Attendance is not a condition of entry or of winning. Winners not present will be contacted directly.
