What are the Dance School Awards?
The Dance School Awards is the ultimate celebration of dance in the UK. Each year, dancers, schools, choreographers and the whole dance industry come together for a glamorous red carpet evening of performances, awards, and glamour. Whether you’re a dancer, teacher, parent, or dance industry proffesional, this is the event to see and be seen.

The Dance School Awards celebrate the very best in dance, from extraordinary soloists to world-class schools. Whether you are an individual performer, a dynamic duo, a sensational trio, or a full dance school group, there’s a category for you. Entries open 1st November 2025 and close 7 July 2026
Performers of all styles are welcome, from classical ballet to contemporary, commercial, jazz, tap, latin & ballroom and more. This is your chance to shine and be recognised for your skill, artistry, and passion.
Dance schools can enter their groups to perform and display their creativity, precision, and excellence. From ensemble routines to captivating team performances, every troupe has the opportunity to impress.
In addition to performance entries, dance schools and industry professionals can be recognised in our prestigious Creative Awards:

Choreographer of the year
Most influential industry proffesional

Eligibility for Creative & Special Awards:
To be considered for Dance School of the Year, Dance Teacher of the Year, or Choreographer of the Year, dance schools must enter at least two groups in the event.
Every entry is a chance to gain recognition, elevate your profile, and be celebrated at a glamorous, prestigious event dedicated to excellence in dance.
Please note: Unfortunately, due to the high volume of entries, only successful applicants will be contacted. This allows us to carefully review each submission while maintaining the highest
standards of excellence.
